But words are what I get paid for so here's the script: 'The top notes are a black current (cassis) base, frangipani, and cedarwood. Cedarwood — for those knowledgeable readers — might be considered a heart note or basenote but here it is used as a top note. OK? The hear notes are exotic woods including caryophyllene. There's also some iris ROOT and jasmine. The base notes include benzoin resin, a touch of vanilla (a VERY SMALL touch) and musk.'"

"I am still having trouble accepting these non-traditional fragrances for men. Yes, it's nice, but it's not what I think a man's cologne should be. Too radical. I guess at times I'm a little conservative."

"For me, it's the cedarwood foundation that does it. I know not everone likes the "smokey" feeling of cedarwood and they want to tone it down — destroy it, submerge it under musk or something — but here it rings clear and true. It works for me on a man." |

"This is a really pleasant fragrance. When a guy puts it on, he gets a bit of a wakeup punch — it makes itself known right away, but not in a BAD way. Then it just calms down and works a quiet magic. One fellow I gave it to said it helped calm him during the day and it gave him more confidence in meetings." |

If men would pick their own fragrances instead of letting women shop for them, a lot of men would be using Blackberry, especially office types with good — really good — jobs."

"There are some beautiful woody notes in Blackberry but also some hints of really masculine floral accords built on jasmine, iris, and frangipanni. I think there's a hint of vanilla in it too — just a hint. Beautiful!"
